1. Travel Tech Introduction

The Travel Technology Association (“Travel Tech”) is committed to respecting the privacy and protecting the personal information of individuals with whom we interact. Travel Tech is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation established in the State of California, advocating for public policy that promotes transparency and competition in the travel marketplace to encourage innovation and preserve consumer choice.

2. Privacy Notice Application

This Privacy Notice applies exclusively to the traveltech.org website (“Website”) and related applications (“Services”) offered by Travel Tech. This Notice sets out the basis on which we will process any personal data or usage information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, in connection with your use of our Website or Services.

Your access to and use of our Website is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice applies to everyone who wants to access or use our Website. Please read this Notice carefully so that you understand your rights in relation to your personal information. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by the provisions of this Privacy Notice and if you disagree with any part of the Privacy Notice, then you do not have our permission to access or use our Website.

• Travel Tech employees or job applicants.

• Submitted Information

You may access and use many of our Services without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, some Services may require you to provide us with personal information (referred to for convenience as “Submission Pages”). You may provide us with contact information by contacting us via our Website, completing a form on our Website, email, telephone, social media, registering for an event, downloading one of our publications, subscribing to our newsletters or otherwise.

The information collected includes (but is not limited to) your name, job title, employer name, business address, business email address, phone number, and information about your interests in travel technologies. • Confirm that Travel Tech is processing your personal information, or to have access to the personal information Travel Tech may have about you. Reasonable access to your personal information will be provided at no cost upon request.
• Correct any personal information that Travel Tech has concerning you that is inaccurate or incomplete.

We provide many choices in relation to our marketing communications via an unsubscribe option on every marketing email. If you opt-out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional and administrative emails about the Services you use.

8. Where Do We Process Your Information?

All our data processing activities happen in the United States. Travel Tech’s headquarters, servers, this website and the majority of Travel Tech Services are located and operated in the United States. If you are using the Services from outside the US, please be aware that your information will be processed in the United States or countries where our service providers and partners are located.

By using our Services and providing us with information, you consent to the transfer, processing and storage of your information in the United States. Please be aware that data privacy laws vary worldwide and some may not be as comprehensive as others. We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information and have implemented appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, access, alteration, destruction or modification of your personal information. We limit the amount of personal information that we collect. Travel Tech retains personal information for the duration of our business relationship with you and for a reasonable period after the relationship ends.

Protecting the privacy of minors is especially important. Our site is not directed towards minors and Travel Tech does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from minors. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a minor, please contact us and we will delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Notice when necessary to reflect changes in our Services, to implement changes required by applicable law, or as we may otherwise deem necessary or appropriate.
