Turning inventory into opportunity—and data into smarter decisions
Hotel cancellations, attrition, distressed group inventory, and need dates can quickly become lost revenue—with effects that ripple across the wider travel economy and contribute to an estimated $200 billion in economic losses each year. RoomRite Group Solutions™ is addressing that challenge with a human-led, AI-enabled B2B data distribution layer and marketplace platform designed to help hospitality partners make smarter decisions, save time and money, and turn unused inventory into revenue.
The platform connects hotels, venues, inventory managers, group planners, and vetted group room buyers and B2B buyers through a private, real-time distribution network. Inventory managers and hotels can offer unused inventory, address attrition gaps, fill need dates, and capture revenue that may otherwise be lost—all while protecting rate integrity and reducing the operational burden on revenue and sales teams. For buyers, RoomRite provides access to relevant inventory and pre-negotiated opportunities without the time and cost of the traditional RFP process.
RoomRite’s AI-enabled tools, dashboards, marketplace, and data intelligence help both sides of the market understand inventory, identify opportunities, streamline traditionally manual processes, and make better decisions about how and where to distribute available rooms. Beyond distributing inventory, its centralized technology collects, organizes, and enriches supply, demand, booking activity, private pricing, and market data, then delivers it to the right users or systems in real time. When available inventory does not fully meet a buyer’s needs, a bidding feature creates another path to source rooms. Together, these capabilities form a data hub and intelligent decision-making ecosystem that improves how the group hospitality industry manages inventory, demand, distribution, and revenue.
Founder and CEO Teresa Guastella and her team developed the concept after working at Marriott and Hilton and seeing the broader impact of unused group inventory firsthand. She founded RoomRite in 2023 around its patent-pending database architecture and synchronized transaction controls for reselling pre-negotiated room blocks, then validated the technology through surveys and conversations with planners, hotel brands, and other industry stakeholders. Following a soft launch, RoomRite officially launched in March 2025. The platform has the potential to reach 150,000 users and recently formed a new partnership that will add 300 properties globally. As the seed-plus company prepares to raise funding, it has launched its SaaS capabilities for one side of the marketplace and plans to extend them to the other in early 2027.
