Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026 — With six weeks until Election Day, Travel Tech Association (Travel Tech) released its 2026 Election Guides, offering travel technology companies insight into the federal and state elections and policy issues that could shape the industry in 2027.
Travel Tech will also be at Skift Global Forum in New York City from Sept. 22–24. Attendees can visit us in Experience Zone 2 to learn more about the Election Guides and Travel Tech’s work on behalf of the travel technology industry.
The guides examine key legislative and regulatory issues affecting travel technology companies, including artificial intelligence, data privacy, pricing, competition, taxation, travel distribution and consumer protection. They also identify elections to watch and races that could influence the policy environment for the travel industry.
Changes in Congress, governors’ offices and state legislatures can affect how travel technology companies innovate, compete and serve travelers. The Election Guides are designed to help companies understand where the policy landscape may be headed and which developments deserve their attention.
The guides are part of Travel Tech’s broader work to provide the travel technology industry with timely policy intelligence, strategic analysis and advocacy at the federal and state levels.
Travel technology companies seeking policy intelligence throughout the year can also learn more about Travel Tech’s Growth Membership, which includes exclusive policy resources, briefings and industry insights.
